It must be a representational picture, Photoshopped. There seem to be no clouds at all in the whole of India. :-) (Met Dept Ramananan paarthaarna kaduppaayiruvaar, mazhai mazhainnu sollittu irundhaar, neenga ennadaannaa jaga jothiyaa photo kaamikkareenga)
Itha paartha odane P kku "Decorate the picture with glitters" nnu hw kudukkura Worksheet maathiri irukku. Whatever it is i like the shape of our country , it gives a complete picture which others lack. Head, body and Legs sort.
this is actually not "the diwali nite " This image is a composite showing the change in illumination over India from 1992-2003. Satellite data from 2003 is coloured red, 1998 is coloured green and 1992 is blue. The three data sets are composited to form the image. Nighttime lights on the map that are white are lights that were present throughout the entire period. Areas that are marked by red have only appeared in 2003. Areas coloured green and blue were only present in 1998 and 1992 respectively but are no longer visible. This image was created by the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP), National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration, USA. i read this info somewhere i re-searched and found this almost authentic :)) but it still feels pretty good to believe that its india on diwali nite
It's not a fake image, it's just not from Diwali. It's a progression map from the 90's to 2000's. You can learn more here: http://www.pathikbhatt.com/2011/india-diwali-satellite-image-real-or-fake/
